- Business Development. Assisted in the business development of scientific ideas at Njorth Bio_. This includes extensive work on governmental funding applications (various Forskningsrådet, Mabit, & SME Instrument), as well as performing market research and interviews.
- Social Media & Website Maintenance. Handled all updates and maintenance on social media (Facebook & Twitter) and website (WordPress), and tracked analytics. Wrote and designed all website and social media content, including marketing graphics.
- Brand Development. Shared the lead with CEO regarding brand development. This includes traveling for business meetings and conferences to network and give company presentations to small and/or large groups. Also organized and/or personally developed all digital and physical marketing materials.

BIOPROSP_17 & _19 (MABIT), Tromsø Norway – An international conference on biotechnology
Head of Communications, March 2016-March 2018
- Organization. One of two paid employees for the entire conference. Heavily involved in the project management of both BIOPROSP_17 and BIOPROSP_19, alongside the project managers. Attends almost all meetings (internal & external) and influences most decisions.
- Brand Development & Recruitment. Plays a large role in recruiting delegates for the conference. Represents BIOPROSP at other conferences and events for networking and recruitment purposes.
- Fundraising. Was the only team member to raise any additional industry sponsorships, above and beyond the normal corporate/governmental sponsorships.
- Point of Contact. Serves as the primary point of contact for speakers, delegates, and most business partners. Handles concerns, answers questions, and provides updates. Writes a newsletter every 6 weeks in prime promotion time.
- Social Media & Website Maintenace. Handles all updates on social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, & Twitter) and website (Drupal). Writes and designs the majority of the website and social media content, including most marketing graphics. Taught myself Drupal without training.
